• Finding ways to reduce the price of gas in California and encouraging the use of alternative fuels
• Not allowing the state budget deficit to increase the cost of health care
• Mandating clean energy and creating green jobs
• Ending illegal immigration without violating fiundamental civil rights
• Making the reduction of greenhouse gasses a priority

Local Issues:

• Developing a better public transportation system for San Diego County
• Saving Tressels from the toll road
• Environmental, water, and economic sustainability
• Creating a world class international airport
• Limiting horse racing days in Del Mar to currents levels
• Prohibiting offshore oil drilling
• Banning Blackwater or any other group like it from the State of California 
• Stopping Sunrise/ Rainbow Powerlink
• Giving grants for solar panels on single family residences
• Making Sempra pay you for the energy you give to the grid  
• Giving grants for the opening of alternative fuel stations in San Diego County
• Encouraging the continued growth and development of the biotech and high-tech industries
• Saving the San Diego chapter of the Sierra Club from cooption by those who are not true environmentalists
